We love our volunteers! They're an incredible group of people who help us achieve our primary purpose: facilitating the Market in order to provide access to healthy food, support local producers and small farms, and to enhance downtown Waltham. Each week, their enthusiasm and can-do attitude make the Market a community resource.

In 2025 this is the division of labor you'll see on the signup page. Signs require heavy lifting, and it’s faster with a car, but we have a hand truck. General Help and Shopper Management involve customer service, the other tasks do not. The signup page has detailed descriptions of every task.

5:30–6:00 Place No Parking Signs at Elks lot

Saturday

7:00–9:00 Market Setup

8:00–9:00 Signs out

9:00–9:30 Shopper Management

9:15–12:00 General Help (management, vendors, shoppers) 

2:00–2:30 Signs in
