Boston University Dheem

BU Dheem is Boston University’s premier Indian classical dance team. Dheem has been established in the Boston area for more than a decade. Performing in various classical styles, like Odissi, Kathak, and Bharatnatyam, Dheem aims to preserve their cultural heritage through a shared love for dance and connection. Dheem was founded to celebrate individuality within a collective group, and is passionate about being a part of something greater than its singular parts. Through Boston University and surrounding colleges, Dheem provides a setting for classical dancers to collaborate and foster their respective dance forms.
