Smith’s Country Cheese has been making true farmstead Gouda, Cheddar, and Havarti cheeses since 1985. All of our cheese is made with the raw cow’s milk from our own family dairy farm in Winchendon, MA. Our handcrafted cheeses and Gouda spreads are made with vegetarian rennet, clean solar energy, and with meticulous attention to following traditional recipes.

It is with heavy hearts that we bring you the news of Dale Wentworth’s death. Dale perished accidentally, swimming off the Carolina coast, where he and his wife Jan spent time every spring.
The Warren Farm & Sugarhouse joined the Waltham Farmers’ Market in 2006 and Dale had been a beloved part of the market ever since. His ebullient presence will be sorely missed. We have been in touch with Jan and hopefully she will bring The Warren Farm & Sugarhouse back to the market later this year.
